Cross-Country Skiing at Northfield Mountain

If you love outdoor activities and the landscapes of winter, Northfield Mountain is perfect for cross-country skiing. Their trails wind through beautiful forests, and rentals are available if you don’t own your own gear.

Step Back in Time at Historic Deerfield
Deerfield, MA
Winter is the perfect time to check out Historic Deerfield’s Winter Village. Attend a cooking class with open-hearth demos, check out some beautiful hand-made wreaths on their wreath walk (available until January 2nd), grab a bite to eat at Champney’s Restaurant, and just soak up the charm of this historic town.
Sledding at Look Park
Florence, MA
Grab a sled and head to Look Park for a day of classic winter fun. The park is perfect for snowball fights and building snowmen. There is also a Winter Wonderland Lights Display until January 1st.

Ice Skating at the Mullins Center
